In our Hindu Temples, the main moola Moorthi is carved out in black granite stone and installed in the garbagruham. The stone for carving the vigraha is chosen by us selectively according to the gender of the diety. Separate stones for the Goddess and God. The stone is sanctified and performing the puja and then the carving is started with the marking sketch as per the shilpa shastra on the stone.
We carved out thousands of vigrahas which includes, Sri Ganesha; Shiva, Vishnu concert, Subramanya concert, all Goddesses, Navagrahas, vahanas, Balipeetams etc., |
